We have a fantastic opportunity for a Team Leader to join the Planning Leadership team in a full-time permanent role. While maintaining a high-quality standard of customer service with our communities is a key focus. Starting salary will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role: Grade 20 - $128,788 - $171,718. About You You will guide and support your team through effective coaching and mentoring, helping each person grow and succeed. Create and foster a positive, inclusive environment where everyone feels empowered to bring their best selves to work. You will pilot and assist the team to achieve shared goals, working within a values-driven framework that supports collaboration, trust, and continuous improvement. Strong people leadership skills are vital to ensure the team is supported to provide high quality planning analysis and the day-to-day workload is effectively managed among the team. Collaboration and building positive relationships with team members, peers, internal and external stakeholders will be crucial to the success of this role. Strong background in resource consent planning, with at least five years of experience in a senior planning role. Expertise in decision making on resource consent applications (within delegations) and managing any Environment Court appeals.
