About the Role: This hybrid Mechanical Project Engineer role will allow an engineering “all-rounder” to thrive. Based at our Hamilton office, you will split your time between the office and various client’s sites, overseeing engineering activities ranging from feasibility to implementation on-site. Working alongside other engineers of various disciplines, no two days will be the same as you drive multiple industrial projects from early stages through to completion, all while spending time “on the tools” controlling the design and analysis required for the engineering phases of these projects. About You: 5+ years’ experience in similar NZ role/s. BE in Mechanical/Project management Qualifications. Mechanical design and analysis capabilities, including but not limited to: CAD (Preferably Solidworks or AutoCAD) Engineering calculations Project engineering capabilities, including but not limited to: Progress reporting Contractor liaison and management Quality management and inspection Preparation of work scopes and generation of specifications Technical support As a self-starter, your ability to “get things done” will be valuable to our clients, and along with your engineering experience, you will be able to solve a range of complex problems. You will have a proven understanding of client engagement, project management, and delivering value as a consultant. Experience in full project lifecycle delivery. Front end feasibility and cost estimating, through preliminary and detailed design, to construction management and commissioning would be beneficial.
