Resource Delivery Manager

Citycare Property is looking for a Resource Delivery Manager to lead our Auckland-based self-delivery workforce within The Project Office. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring our carpenters, digger operators, hammer hands, and site supervisors are well resourced, supported, and positioned for success.
What You'll Be Doing | Nga Kawenga Takohanga
As Resource Delivery Manager, you will:
- Lead, develop and support a team of trade and field-based professionals.
- Plan and coordinate labour resources to meet project programme, quality, safety and commercial requirements.
- Partner with Project Managers, Engineers and Estimators to support project planning, resourcing and delivery.
- Oversee workforce capability, training, competency management and succession planning.
- Manage plant, vehicles, equipment and tools to ensure availability, compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Monitor workforce utilisation, productivity and performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Champion health, safety, wellbeing and quality across all self-delivered works.
- Contribute to tendering, pricing, resource forecasting and operational planning activities.
What You'll Bring to the Table | Nga Mea ka Mauria e Koe
- Proven operational leadership experience in construction, civil, maintenance, facilities management or a similar environment.
- Experience leading trade-based or field delivery teams.
- Strong workforce planning and resource coordination capability.
- Understanding of construction methodologies, site sequencing and productivity drivers.
- Experience contributing to project cost estimates and delivery planning.
- Sound knowledge of health, safety, quality and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Relevant trade, construction, project delivery or operational management qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Current full New Zealand driver's licence.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and operational management systems.
