Do you want to gain practical teaching experience in a Christian community of learning that nurtures young people towards their full potential as servant leaders in the Kingdom of God? The Teachers' Institute's Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Primary Teacher, School-based) is a one-year, full-time programme leading to New Zealand teacher registration. It features a unique mode of delivery, with all trainees based in a home school for the year where they will be fully engaged in all aspects of school life. Trainees will be partnered with a mentor teacher or teachers and will gradually take on more responsibility for classes as the year progresses.
