Lead the strategic direction and delivery of enterprise-wide transformation Influence executive priorities, shape the transformation roadmap and build enduring organisational capability Permanent role based in Auckland or Wellington, with five weeks’ annual leave and insurance benefits Te whiwhinga mahi - Our opportunity Lead the delivery of Kāinga Ora’s enterprise transformation, turning strategy into well-sequenced change that delivers lasting impact. Reporting to the General Manager – Transformation Office, you will provide senior leadership across the transformation portfolio, shape the enterprise roadmap and connect activity across major business and technology-enabled programmes. You will lead the internal transformation delivery capability, bringing together project management, business analysis, process improvement and change expertise to support enterprise priorities. Working closely with executives, workstream leads and business leaders, you will guide priorities and sequencing, manage dependencies and ensure resources are focused where they will have the greatest impact. Your leadership will span major business and technology modernisation programmes. You will align business readiness, process redesign, operating model change and organisational impacts with technical delivery, while stepping in to lead high-priority or particularly complex initiatives when required. You will also strengthen delivery standards, identify emerging risks and resolve barriers before they affect outcomes. As well as driving current transformation priorities, you will strengthen Kāinga Ora’s capability to deliver sustainable change into the future. This is a highly influential senior leadership role with the opportunity to turn strategic ambition into meaningful, lasting outcomes for Kāinga Ora and the communities we serve. Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline (business, engineering, IT or organisational development). MBA or equivalent strongly regarded. Recognised mastery of multiple delivery and improvement methodologies — for example Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt or Master Black Belt), MSP, agile delivery at scale, design thinking, operating model design. 15+ years’ experience leading complex transformation programmes in large, complex organisations, including 5+ years at executive or near‑executive level.
