Desktop Engineer Absolute IT Wellington Central Our public sector client are looking for a Desktop Engineer to support the deployment of Windows 11 across their environment. This 12 week contract role involves device build, troubleshooting, process documentation, and supporting hardware configurations and upgrades, ensuring smooth rollout in classified and unclassified environments. Responsibilities Support Windows 11 rollout for desktops and devices Build and pre-provision devices in person Migrate accounts and troubleshoot issues Develop and test Intune configuration processes Support device decommissioning and issue resolution Investigate faulty laptops and upgrade legacy desktops Skills & Experience Experience with Windows 11 deployment and device management Knowledge of Intune configuration policies Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution skills Ability to support classified environment hardware tasks Excellent documentation and testing abilities Please note that we can only accept applications from candidates presently based in New Zealand and holding valid NZ Work Rights. #J-18808-Ljbffr
