Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in influencing strategic decision-making, driving financial performance, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the organization. The successful candidate will be a key member of the leadership team, partnering with the Chief Executive, Board, Executive Leadership Team, and external stakeholders to deliver financial excellence and make a significant impact. This is a senior leadership position that requires a commercially minded and strategically focused finance leader with a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent professional accreditation, and significant experience in senior finance leadership, preferably within the public sector or a complex, highly regulated environment.As the CFO, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a long-term financial strategy, leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and providing strategic financial advice to support organizational priorities. The role also involves building strong relationships with various stakeholders, including the Board, Audit and Risk Committee, and government entities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, procurement practices, and leading a high-performing finance and procurement team. Strong expertise in financial governance, audit, risk management, and internal controls is essential, as is the ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights and strategic narratives. The CFO will be instrumental in driving value-for-money outcomes and strengthening the organization's financial capability, data utilization, and decision-making processes.
