Drive strategic workforce and capacity planning across NZ Post's national delivery networkUse data, insights and forecasting to optimise resources and improve operational performanceJoin a collaborative team influencing network design and operational excellence Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role We're looking for a Network Resource Optimisation Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring NZ Post's network has the right people, in the right place, at the right time. Working within our Network Management team, you'll lead labour and resource planning activities that support efficient operations across our Customer Service Delivery networkUsing operational forecasts, historical trends and performance data, you'll develop workforce plans that optimise capacity, improve productivity and support service targets. You'll work closely with Network Design Specialists, operational leaders and a range of stakeholders to ensure resource plans align with network changes, business priorities and future growth requirements. Mōu - About you You're an analytical and commercially minded planning professional who enjoys solving complex operational challenges. You thrive in fast-paced environments, can confidently influence stakeholders, and use data-driven insights to support sound decision-making. You'll bring: 5+ years' experience in logistics, distribution or network-based operations, with a strong workforce planning focus Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and the ability to translate complex data into practical recommendations Experience working within large operational or network-driven businesses A continuous improvement mindset and ability to identify smarter ways of working Mō te Tukurau Aotearoa - About NZ Post Ever wondered about the magic behind parcel delivery?
