Site Storeperson Salary : $6 monthly Company : Metlen Energy Job Type : Full Time New Zealand Location: Site based role – Edgecumbe Contract Type: Full time, maximum term Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be a valuable member of the team responsible for coordinating site deliveries, truck movements, materials receipting, inventory management and warehouse/laydown operations to support the construction of Metlen’s renewable energy projects. Logistics and Delivery Coordination Coordinate site deliveries, collections and material movements. Liaise with transport providers, suppliers and delivery drivers. Monitor delivery schedules and resolve logistical issues. Materials Management and Inventory Control Receive, inspect and record all incoming materials. Maintain inventory, stock levels and material traceability. Manage material distribution and resolve discrepancies. Laydown, Warehouse and Stores Operations Maintain storage areas, warehouses and laydown yards. Control stock, tools, equipment and project assets. Ensure materials are stored safely and correctly identified. Health, Safety and Quality Operate material handling equipment safely. Support material inspections and quality compliance. Maintain accurate inventory and delivery records. General Site Maintenance Maintain housekeeping, waste management and site presentation. Perform minor maintenance and coordinate repairs. Monitor site consumables and utility systems. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: High-School Certificate or equivalent qualification (e.g., Trade School, logistics or supply chain qualification) Materials receipting and inventory control. Truck scheduling and delivery coordination. Warehouse and stores management. Strong organisational and planning skills. Attention to detail and record keeping.
