You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering high‑quality water, wastewater, and stormwater solutions for public and private sector clients across Canterbury and beyond. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from concept design through to construction support, while contributing to sustainable, resilient infrastructure for growing communities. Key Responsibilities Design and analysis of water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems Preparation of concept, preliminary, and detailed designs Hydraulic modelling and technical reporting Coordination with clients, councils, and multidisciplinary project teams Preparation of drawings, specifications, and cost estimates Construction monitoring and contract support as required Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards, guidelines, and consent requirements You will ideally have A degree in Civil Engineering or similar 2+ years’ experience in Three Waters engineering (consultancy experience preferred) Sound knowledge of NZ design standards and local authority requirements Experience with hydraulic modelling software (e.g. EPANET, InfoWorks, HEC‑RAS, or similar) Strong communication and problem‑solving skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team Working toward or holding CPEng (or equivalent) is an advantage What We Offer A supportive and inclusive consultancy environment Interesting and varied projects across the South Island Competitive salary and benefits package Professional development and career progression opportunities Flexible working arrangements A great Christchurch location with an excellent lifestyle balance #J-18808-Ljbffr
