He angitūtanga | The opportunity As a Cleaning/Laundry Assistant , you will help maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene standards of Te Aute College . You'll be responsible for supporting cleaning and laundry operations, ensuring facilities are well maintained and providing a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Ko o kawenga | Your responsibilities Clean and maintain classrooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and other facilities to a high standard. Collect, sort, wash, dry, and distribute laundry items throughout the site. Operate cleaning and laundry equipment safely and effectively. Respond promptly to cleaning requirements, spills, and replenishment of supplies. Follow all health & safety, hygiene, and company procedures while maintaining excellent customer service. He kōrero mōu | About you Previous cleaning, laundry, or housekeeping experience is preferred. A reliable and hardworking individual who can work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a positive, service-focused attitude. Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual cleaning and laundry tasks. Flexible, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
