Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our Advisory Services Team. As one of two HR Coordinators, you'll share responsibility for delivering comprehensive administrative, coordination and process support across both human resources and recruitment, with recruitment forming a significant component of the role. This is a permanent, full-time position based in our central Wellington office. About the role: You’ll have exposure to the full recruitment and employee lifecycle, supporting our people, hiring managers and HR team with recruitment, onboarding, employee movements and offboarding, while providing high-quality HR coordination across the organisation. This is a busy role, where no two days are the same. You’ll need to be able to complete a wide variety of tasks and be comfortable juggling multiple conflicting priorities. Attention to detail is essential, along with a willingness to contribute to the team with a flexible attitude towards work. You’ll collaborate broadly with employees, people leaders, the wider HR team and job applicants to address enquiries and facilitate processes whilst upholding confidentiality and HR best practice. What you do Monitor and respond to enquiries received through our central HR inbox, sharing responsibility with the other HR Coordinator. Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, from advertising vacancies through to onboarding, ensuring recruitment processes are followed and hiring managers are supported throughout the process. Draft and prepare letters, agreements and information relating to employment matters Coordinate and manage activities associated with onboarding, internal movements, and offboarding of our employees. Help ensure compliance with HR policies and legal requirements Provide ad hoc HR generalist support to members of the Advisory Services team Encourage self-service and educate the business on where to find solutions. Skills and experience required Previous experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator or Recruitment Coordinator is essential Good understanding of HR processes, procedures and New Zealand employment legislation Proven ability to follow and apply processes and policies, whilst demonstrating flexibility and adaptability Able to manage a high workload, and proactively plan to meet competing demands High level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information. Strong customer service skills with the confidence to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Strong computer literacy and experience working with MS Office applications Experience with TechOne and DocuSign is preferred A tertiary qualification in HR is preferred but not essential What we offer Work to suit your life and whānau with our flexible working policy.
