He angitūtanga | The opportunity As a Catering Supervisor , you will lead the delivery of exceptional food and beverage service within the Air New Zealand Lounge at Nelson Airport . You’ll drive a high‑performing team, ensuring every customer enjoys a premium experience that “surprises and delights,” while maintaining operational, safety, and commercial standards. This is a permanent position with 30 hours guaranteed per week. Ko o kawenga | Your responsibilities Lead, supervise, and develop the lounge team to deliver outstanding customer experiences. Ensure premium food and beverage service standards are consistently achieved. Manage staff rostering, training, performance, and team engagement. Oversee daily operations including stock control, cost management, and service delivery. Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and operational policies. He kōrero mōu | About you Proven experience in hospitality leadership or supervisory roles. Strong people leadership skills with experience coaching and developing teams. Excellent customer service skills with a passion for delivering premium experiences. Commercial awareness with the ability to manage costs and operational performance. Strong understanding of health & safety, food safety, and compliance requirements.
