Part-time, 24-32 hours per week on site, Monday to Thursday Starting as soon as possible Leading Australasian corporate apparel and workwear company Wiri, Auckland based – friendly, supportive culture Seeking a detail-oriented Specification Technician to support our Product Development team in the creation and maintenance of garment specifications, technical documentation, and technical drawings for men's and women's workwear and uniform apparel. Reporting to the Head of Product and Design Manager you’ll be joining a committed very experienced product development team. The role involves: Create and maintain garment specifications within the company's PLM system Input and update technical construction details, measurements, grading information, and bill of materials (BOMs) Ensure specification packs are complete, accurate, and aligned with company standards Maintain version control and manage specification updates throughout the product development process Support the Product Development team with data entry, specification reviews, and technical documentation Create and update technical line drawings using CorelDRAW Support QC process for production by doing some QC reports You’ll have: Experience in apparel, uniform, or workwear product development Strong understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes Experience creating technical garment specifications Intermediate user of CorelDRAW or similar technical illustration software High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisational and data management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities A strong level of computer literacy; intermediate to advanced in Garment CAD, drawing and MS Excel You’ll receive in return: Competitive salary, and invitation to join our incentive scheme The ability to buy Deane's products at discounted prices Free carparking (plenty available on site) The opportunity to join a committed, friendly team with an excellent culture Do good!
