About the role | Mō te tūranga Behind every great customer outcome at Public Trust is a team making sure the details are right. As an Associate (Estate Operations Administrator) in our Functions team, you’ll support Trustees with the administrative and operational work that helps keep things moving smoothly for our customers. This is a varied, behind-the-scenes role where no two days look exactly the same. You’ll work across different processes, systems and tasks - reviewing information, processing transactions, completing quality checks, and helping resolve internal queries. You won’t be customer-facing, but your work will make a real difference. You’ll be part of a supportive team where knowledge is shared, questions are welcomed, and everyone plays a part in delivering great outcomes. In this role, you’ll: Process and review a range of administrative and operational tasks with care and consistency. Complete quality checks, data validation and transaction processing across multiple systems. Support Trustees and internal teams by helping resolve queries and keeping work on track. Build your knowledge across a variety of functions, processes and workflows. This is a fixed term position until March 2027. You’re someone who takes pride in doing things properly. You enjoy organized, detail-focused work and get satisfaction from knowing the information, process or task has been completed accurately. You may come from administration, banking operations, insurance, legal support, financial services, payroll, accounts administration or another environment where attention to detail, organization and follow-through are important. You don’t need previous trustee experience. What matters most is your confidence working with systems, willingness to learn and ability to adapt as priorities change. If you enjoy structured work, steady problem-solving, and being part of a collaborative team, this could be a great next step. We’re looking for someone who has: Strong administration experience and excellent attention to detail. The ability to prioritize work, manage changing workloads, and work across multiple systems. A proactive, solution-focused approach and genuine willingness to learn. A collaborative mindset and desire to contribute to a supportive team.
