\nWe're working with a well-established Kiwi manufacturer with a strong reputation and plenty of history behind them. They're on the hunt for an experienced Mechanical Fitter/Assembler to lead a team of around 15 people in a busy production environment.\n
\nThis is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting stuck in, supporting their team, and making sure the work gets out the door safely, on time, and to a high standard.\n
What you'll be doing: \n

What you'll be doing: \n

- Leading and backing your assembly team day-to-day \n
- Keeping production, quality, and safety on track \n
- Rolling up your sleeves and getting involved with mechanical assembly and fitting work \n
- Troubleshooting problems and helping the team find solutions \n
- Working closely with the Production Manager and having a real say in how things are done \n
- \n
- A stable, well-respected business with decades of success behind it \n

- Strong experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Assembler, or similar \n
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment \n
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or leading hand experience \n
- A trade qualification in mechanical fitting, fabrication, engineering, electrical, or similar would be ideal \n
- Confidence reading engineering drawings and build plans \n
- Solid mechanical know-how and a knack for solving problems \n
- Electrical knowledge would be a real advantage \n
- The kind of attitude that gets stuck in and leads by example. \n
- Must have full NZ working rights \n
