Full Time Application Closes 27 Aug 2026 Database Administrator We are seeking a full-time, 6-month fixed-term Project Coordinator based in Hawke's Bay to support the successful delivery of two significant property and asset initiatives across EIT. Reporting to the Director, Capital Planning and Projects, this role will coordinate project activities, support stakeholder engagement, manage project documentation, and help ensure key milestones are achieved on time and to a high standard. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects that will enhance the management of EIT's facilities and assets while working collaboratively with a broad range of internal teams, contractors and external partners. The appointing salary for this role will be between $55,000 and $68,000, dependent on skills and experience. The Project Coordinator is based in our Operations team, reporting to the Director, Capital Planning and Projects and will be responsible for: Coordinating project timelines, work programmes and task schedules. Organising site access, contractor visits and survey activities across campuses. Monitoring project progress and maintaining project registers and schedules. Supporting risk, issue and decision log management. Coordinating asset condition assessment activities across buildings, infrastructure and site assets. Liaising with internal stakeholders to support project delivery and minimise disruption. Supporting data cleansing, preparation and migration for the new asset management system. Assisting with workflow documentation, user testing and implementation activities. Preparing meeting agendas, minutes, action lists, reports and presentations. Maintaining effective communication between stakeholders, contractors, consultants and project leaders. To be successful in this role you will have: Experience in project coordination, administration or operational support roles. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines. Experience managing documentation, data and project records with accuracy and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, SharePoint and related systems. Experience supporting projects involving systems implementation, process improvement or change initiatives. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when required. A collaborative, proactive and customer-focused approach. Experience within property, facilities, construction, engineering or asset management environments would be advantageous.
