We are currently looking for an empathetic and reliable Support Worker in Dunedin to support individuals in their community. This is a part-time role and must be available to work across morning, afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends. You will help them achieve their personal goals and engage in activities they enjoy, such as swimming, sports, arts and crafts, movies, shopping - the list is endless! Qualities we're looking for: People who are passionate about helping others, are kind and understanding. Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience working with youth. Full driver's license and owning your own vehicle is essential. A desire to support people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes. Somebody who has the initiative to push people for their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. You need to be respectful of others thinking, and their way of living life that may be different to your own. Hours: 40 hours per fortnight Shifts across Monday - Sunday Guaranteed part-time hours, perfect for maintaining work-life balance! Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness is important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
