About the Role CVICU stands at the forefront of specialized nursing care, grounded in clinical expertise, research, education, and innovation. As the National Center for Heart and Lung transplants, LVAD implantations, and ECMO, our 26-bed adult ICU delivers highly specialised care. This 24-hour service at Auckland City Hospital caters to elective and acute cases. We provide intensive care for a spectrum of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures , offering unparalleled learning opportunities within New Zealand. About you Experience Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate. At least 3 years post-registration experience in ICU/HDU is preferred for this role. Qualifications Registration from Nursing Council of NZ. Skills Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrate capability to work both independently and collaboratively. Applies knowledge and understanding of te Tiriti o Waitangi to support culturally safe and equitable care. Demonstrates professionalism, initiative, and flexibility within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
