Trade Support Person

We’re supporting a leading distributor of high-quality building products to the commercial construction market across New Zealand. Due to some growth in the construction sector, we’re looking for their next Trade Support superstar to join their Auckland team. What’s in it for you $28–$29 per hour plus 8% Holiday pay, paid weekly Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (no weekends!) Excellent work–life balance Ongoing training and career development Regular team lunches and social events Supportive and passionate team environment Free onsite parking Your day-to-day Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person at the trade counter Support customers with product advice, pricing, and quotes Liaise with suppliers to arrange deliveries or coordinate stock for collection Complete data entry, invoicing, and administrative tasks Maintain accurate records and assist with reports and team meetings Collaborate with the wider sales team to ensure smooth operations and satisfied customers What you’ll bring Experience in a customer service or trade support role (ideally within the building industry) Confident communicator with strong phone and email etiquette Proficient with Microsoft Office (SAP experience a bonus) Accurate and efficient with data entry and quoting Health & Safety focused with a proactive, can-do attitude Enjoys solving problems and going the extra mile for customers If you’re a team player who thrives in a busy, hands‑on environment and enjoys helping customers find the right solution, we’d love to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
