About the Role We are welcoming applications from New Zealand Registered Audiologists who will provide professional and strategic leadership for Audiologists and New Born Hearing Screeners working across Health NZ Waikato. You will be a valued member of the Allied Health, Scientific and Technical leadership team partnering with other Allied Health Professional Leads and operational leads across our organisation. Key responsibilities You will be responsible for championing excellence in practice for the Audiology department and leading the team. Support professional growth and contribute to future service planning to ensure high quality care and equity focused health outcomes. Ensure clinical assurance, including facilitating consistent standards of practice, ensuring effective use of evidence based, safe and competent practice. Support managers across services on issues related to the Audiology service. About you As a New Zealand Registered Audiologist with your paediatric certification you will have relevant clinical leadership skill and experience along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have experience working with and collaborating with other professions and services to improve patient outcomes. You will be the type of person who leads by example and creates an opportunity for people to thrive through high levels of engagement. About the Team/Service Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waikato employs Audiologists and New Born Hearing screeners who work across a number of sites across the district of Waikato. You will be joining a friendly team of Allied Health professional leads who work closely in collaboration with our operational partners. Qualities we are looking for NZ Registered Audiologist Minimum of 5 years clinical experience Future thinking, looking at incorporating service improvement projects that improve patient outcomes and effectively utilise resources Ability to work in partnership with operational partners to drive services forward, consider innovative ways of working to make the most of the resources avaliable.
