Free on-site carparking Mō tānei mahi | About this job Location : Tāmaki Makaurau Hours : Part-time, 18.75hrs per week Days: Wednesday – Friday Tenure: FixedTerm until December 2030 As Manager of the Bachelor of Social Work Programme, you will be responsible for: Leading the delivery, academic quality and continuous improvement of degree and postgraduate programmes, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning outcomes. Providing strategic leadership and academic oversight to Kaiako teams, fostering a high-performing, collaborative and values-led culture. Driving programme development, assessment moderation, accreditation activities and compliance with NZQA and quality assurance requirements. Championing rangahau-informed teaching practices and building research capability across programme teams. Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, professional bodies, iwi, hapú, and external agencies to support programme quality and relevance. Leading workforce planning, capability development and performance management to support sustainable programme delivery and outstanding tauira outcomes. This role is classified as a Core Children's Worker, and you will need to pass a safety check, including police vetting, under the Children’s Act 2014 . Mōu | About you We are looking for someone who has the following: A Master's or PhD in a relevant discipline, with significant professional or practice-based experience. Proven leadership experience within the tertiary education sector, including academic programme management and quality assurance. Extensive teaching experience and a strong understanding of curriculum design, pedagogy and learner-centred educational practice. Experience leading accreditation, moderation, compliance and continuous improvement activities within a tertiary environment. Strong stakeholder engagement, coaching and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others. A demonstrated commitment to kaupapa Māori, Indigenous education, rangahau and the aspirations of Māori communities. As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
