Aboutthe Role HealthcareAssistants are instrumental in providing care to our patients, and we currentlyhave two casual vacancies based at Tūārangi Home in Ashburton. Asa Healthcare Assistant you will assist nursing staff with patient cares whilstmaintaining a safe and clean work environment. You will enjoy working as partof a multidisciplinary team, have excellent interpersonal and organisationalskills, a high level of confidentiality and the ability to work well underpressure. Thisrole is primarily based in Tūārangi Home, however at times you may be requiredto work in some of the other wards at Ashburton Hospital. Aboutthe Service TūārangiHome is a 37 bed Residential Care facility that provides hospital level anddementia care at both rest home and hospital levels. We are a skilled anddedicated workforce, working within the dementia and hospital units to providequality care in a friendly environment. We believe that dignity of allindividuals is paramount, and at Tūārangi we diligently maintain an atmosphereof empathy, non-judgmental and respectful care.
