A bit about the role… We are looking for an Inwards Goods Team Member to join the Porirua team. The hours for the position are Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.30pm. Day to day you will be responsible for ensuring the correct receipting of all goods received and sent and you will work with the merchandising team and the wider team to ensure stock moves from inwards goods to the retail floor as swiftly as possible. We are customer obsessed, so having stock available is a critical part of our business. A bit about you… You will ideally have an F endorsement/Forklift Licence , or a full Class 1 Driver's Licence and a willingness to learn so we can put you through a Forklift course. You'll need to have strong attention to detail, data entry skills, and be physically fit as you'll be on your feet throughout the day and will be required to do some heavy lifting. You will ideally have: Excellent communication skills and a ‘can do’ attitude The ability to work well both within a team environment and independently Experience in administration and accurate data entry skills Strong attention to detail The ability to multi-task A natural ability to provide excellent customer service A bit about us… Mitre 10 MEGA is New Zealand’s number one home improvement store.
