The Opportunity | Te čč Enjoy connecting with people? Love Supporting Events? Enjoy Cinema and the Arts? Become a Casual Information Officer at the Govett’-Brewster Art Gallery/Len Lye Centre! We’re seeking enthusiastic, people-focused team members to support the delivery of our vibrant events programme and ensure exceptional experiences for all visitors to the Gallery and the Len Lye Cinema. This casual role is primarily weekend and evening shifts, and the ability to work Sundays is essential. If you enjoy helping events run smoothly, supporting cinema operations, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere – we’d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities | Ngč haepapa matua Support the smooth running of gallery events, public programmes and cinema sessions, ensuring visitors receive exceptional service. Assist with Len Lye Cinema operations, including front-–of-–house support, visitor guidance, ticketing and audience management. Deliver high-–quality customer service and hospitality at gallery and community events. Provide welcoming, knowledgeable assistance to visitors about the gallery, exhibitions, events and the wider region. Actively follow all legislative, health and safety and security requirements.
