About the Role Our Gastroenterology Service in Dunedin Hospital is seeking highly motivated and experienced Colonoscopy Triage Process (CTP)Registered Nurses to join our friendly team on a part-time, permanent basis, with flexible hours over a minimum of 3-4 days each week. Use your nursing knowledge and judgment to assess health needs, co-ordinate care and advise and support people to manage their health. Applying New Zealand Ministry of Health Guidelines, including criteria for Direct Access, Family History surveillance for CRC, and Polyp Surveillance Gathering and analysing patient information to coordinate their care throughout the triage process, which requires substantial professional knowledge, skill, and clinical decision-making. Practising both independently and in collaboration with other health professionals. Working in partnership with patients, families, whānau, medical practices, and the wider community.
