Based in the Employability Lab at our City Campus, you'll be a trusted support for students navigating CVs, job applications, and the often-daunting leap into the working world. Your days will be varied — reviewing CVs, guiding walk-ins, delivering workshops, providing one-on-one appointments, and working with your team to deliver employability events and initiatives across AUT's campuses. This is a highly visible, student-facing role where your advice, energy, and encouragement will have a direct impact. As a professional staff member at AUT, you’ll help our university thrive by improving services, supporting students and staff, and driving practical improvements across our campuses. We’re looking for people with energy, curiosity, and openness to new ideas who bring a collaborative, adaptable approach and contribute to a positive workplace culture. You’ll also bring cultural humility and respect for Te Tiriti o Waitangi , Indigenous peoples, and diverse communities. Experience supporting Indigenous, equity, or inclusion-focused initiatives is highly valued. You may be earlier in your career, but you’ll bring sound judgement, confidence with people, and practical experience in recruitment, careers, or HR. An undergraduate degree is required.
