Electronic Security Support/Systems Administrator Aotea security - North Shore - North Island Security Technical Support & Systems Administrator Aotea Security - Enterprise Support Team Aotea Security is one of New Zealand’s leading electronic security providers, trusted by major banks, government departments, and enterprise clients nationwide. Our Enterprise Support team keeps those systems running every day. We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled support professional to join the team. This is a support-first role. You will be the person technicians and clients rely on to keep systems running and problems solved. Security systems administration sits alongside that, so a good mix of both will see you thrive. To be clear, the administration in this role is for electronic security systems, such as access control and CCTV, not for general IT infrastructure. The role is based in Auckland. Strong applicants from anywhere in New Zealand will also be considered. This is a full-time office-based position working standard business hours, with rostered weeks on-call as part of the team roster. We are particularly interested in candidates with hands-on experience in electronic security systems who can step in with minimal ramp-up time. Junior applicants with strong technical aptitude are also welcome to apply. Responsibilities will be tailored to match experience. Please note: This role requires a Full NZ Driver Licence and the ability to obtain a Certificate of Approval. A clean record is required. What You'll Do Provide remote technical support to technicians and national clients Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve security system issues Manage ticket updates, escalations, and system changes Administer and configure electronic security platforms Assist with security system programming and setup Support data, documentation, and asset management tasks Work closely with senior support staff and national project teams Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and national projects What We're Looking For Strong technical capability and problem-solving skills Hands-on experience with electronic security systems Clear and confident communication Reliable, organised, and able to work independently A genuine interest in learning and growing with the team Experience in any of the following will be a significant advantage: Enterprise-level security platforms such as: Gallagher, Integriti/Tecom, ICT Protege GX / WX Milestone, WAVE/NX, March Networks, Genetec, Avigilon, Geutebrück Other access control or CCTV systems IT or technical support roles (If you have practical knowledge of these systems, we strongly encourage you to apply.)
