Senior teacher

This is not your average senior teacher role. Town and Country Kids Pukekohe is looking for a driven, capable and passionate senior teacher who is ready to step into a leadership role that is both rewarding and challenging. We are a unique, large-scale early childhood centre licensed for 150 children, set in a rich, natural environment. Our centre features farm animals, a swimming pool, gardens, and expansive outdoor spaces that create endless opportunities for exploration, learning, and connection with nature. We are proudly inclusive, supporting children with a wide range of needs, including those with higher and more complex requirements. Our tamariki come from diverse cultural backgrounds, and our international teaching team brings a wealth of knowledge, perspectives, and lived experiences. We are on an ambitious journey to grow and fill our centre, and we need a strong senior teacher who is ready to be part of that vision. You will work alongside the centre manager to: support the daily operations of a large, dynamic centre lead, coach, and strengthen a diverse team of kaiako drive quality practice and continuous improvement champion inclusive education for all children build strong, trusting relationships with whānau and the community contribute to growing occupancy and centre reputation. This role is for you if you: are a qualified and registered ECE teacher (or close to registration) have proven leadership or senior teaching experience thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment are confident working with children with diverse and high needs can lead across cultures and value different perspectives are resilient, proactive, and solutions-focused want to be part of something bigger than 'just a job'. #J-18808-Ljbffr
