Community Facilitator - Casual

Job Category: Community Services and Development Our Community Facilitators (Support Workers) are the cornerstone of our organisation. They work alongside our disabled partners to enable good lives, drive ordinary outcomes, and support people to achieve their goals and aspirations. We are currently seeking Casual Community Facilitators to join our team. This role is ideal for people looking for flexible work that can fit around study, family commitments, a part-time role, or those wanting additional hours. Casual Community Facilitators provide support on an as and when required basis , helping us cover planned and unplanned absences, additional support needs, and busy periods across our services. The role may include but is not limited to: Supporting our disabled partners to achieve their goals Helping partners maintain a high standard of living in their own homes Providing personal cares Encouraging our disabled partners to actively engage within our communities Administering medication and providing support to and from appointments Being encouraging and supportive of life skills, such as budgeting and pursuing employment opportunities and/or undertaking study Building and maintaining supportive, fun, exciting, and healthy relationships with some truly amazing individuals. Job Description A great Community Facilitator is innovative in providing support to our Disabled Partners and creates a positive influence in their lives. The ability to build genuine relationships and support our partners to achieve their aspirations will be key to your success in this role. As a Casual Community Facilitator, you will enjoy variety, be adaptable, and be comfortable working across different environments and with a range of people.
