What you’ll do: As our Supplier Relationship Manager – Technology, you’ll be part of the Genesis Procurement Team, responsible for owning the commercial relationships with Genesis' most strategic technology suppliers. Working alongside senior technology leaders, operational vendor managers and procurement colleagues, you'll drive supplier performance, strengthen governance, and ensure our technology partnerships continue delivering long-term value for the business. This is an opportunity to help mature our Supplier Relationship Management approach while influencing some of Genesis' most important commercial relationships. Some of the key responsibilities are: Build trusted relationships with senior technology stakeholders to influence commercial decisions and challenge constructively. Drive commercial value through working closely with vendors and internally to create efficiency. Own strategic commercial relationships with Genesis' key technology suppliers, ensuring strong governance and long-term value. Lead quarterly business reviews, supplier governance, drive supplier innovation and continuous improvement initiatives. Analyse supplier performance, commercial outcomes, spend trends and strategic risk to identify opportunities that improve business value. Partner with operational vendor management teams to translate day-to-day supplier performance into strategic improvements. Help evolve and embed Supplier Relationship Management best practice across Genesis. What you’ll bring: You’ll be an experienced Supplier Relationship or Vendor Manager with strong commercial capability and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders in a complex technology environment. You will also have; Extensive experience in Supplier Relationship Management, Vendor Management or Commercial Management. Strong commercial and contract management capability, including supplier governance and risk management. Experience managing strategic relationships with large enterprise technology vendors and major cloud providers. Knowledge of software licensing, SaaS, cloud, Managed Services and enterprise outsourcing. Proven ability to influence, challenge and build credibility with senior business and technology leaders. Experience improving or embedding Supplier Relationship Management frameworks and best practice.
