We have shifts available in our Showroom Decor Department, Hardware department and at our Customer Service Desk. All positions include one weekend shift and may include public holidays. Customer Services Supervisor Our customer service role isa 32 hour per week position. Aboutthe Role: Focus on provision ofexcellent customer service, ensuring the customers' satisfaction withsales assistance, level of service and conflict/problem resolutionprocesses Supervise workflow,staffing levels and day to day operational requirements for checkouts andservice desk. Support the CustomerService Team Leader with staff supervision responsibilities. Operate and train onthe point-of-sale system, ensuring customer transactions and payments areprocessed in a prompt, efficient, accurate and friendly manner. Supervise the servicedesk to ensure refunds and all customer transactions are processedaccurately and within policy. An IdealCandidate will have: strongattention to detail and excellent communication skills aquick and alert mind for problem solving, multitasking and organising anability to adapt, be flexible and a willingness to learn flexibilityof potentially more available hours theability to lead and motivate a small team physicalfitness with no restrictions on lifting Customerservice and cash handling experience is preferred Retail Team Members Two part-time positions - Hardware and Showrooms/Decor Ideally, you’ll have some experience in retail or a relevant background but if youhave years of DIY experience under your belt, that will be seen just asfavourably. Either way, you will enjoy helping our customers get exactly whatthey need to get the Mahi done! These departments are fast-pacedand heavy lifting is part of the role so a reasonable standard of physicalfitness is a must! Both roles are part-time positions with oneweekend day shift You’ll need: Enthusiasmand team spirit Goodtime management and a cool head when under pressure Aquick and alert mind, with the ability to adapt and be flexible Excellentcommunication skills and an eye for detail Theability to be on your feet for several hours at a time and to be able towork on a roster including a weekend day Theability to relay technical information to a range of customers withvarying degrees of knowledge The Successful applicant will be responsible for: Growingsales by providing exceptional customer service Maintaininghigh merchandising standards & managing stock Workingclosely & assisting in other departments if required Heavylifting and physical movement are required Promotinghealth and safety, following safe work practices within your team at alltimes. Casual Contract We are also looking to grow our pool of Casual Team members. The successful candidates may be trained to work over multiple areas of the store.
