The Opportunity We’re looking for Graduates to join our Deals Strategy team in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland, commencing in February 2027. PwC’s Deals Strategy team helps clients make some of their most important strategic and investment decisions. We work with a diverse range of organisations, including corporates, private businesses, government agencies and investors. Our work spans commercial due diligence, growth strategy, market assessments and value creation. We combine research, data and commercial insight to help clients understand markets, assess opportunities and make confident decisions. As a Graduate in our team, you’ll work alongside experienced consultants on real business challenges from day one. You could be involved in analysing industries and competitors, assessing growth opportunities, conducting commercial due diligence or helping clients identify ways to create value. You’ll develop your analytical, commercial and consulting skills through hands‑on experience, ongoing coaching and mentoring. If you’re curious, commercially minded and enjoy solving complex problems, we’d love to hear from you. What you’ll bring A Bachelor-level qualification, or are working towards one, in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, Mathematics or a related discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and draw meaningful insights from data. An interest in business strategy, transactions, mergers and acquisitions and commercial decision-making. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. A proactive attitude, intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn. A genuine interest in how businesses operate, grow and create value. We’d also be interested to hear about any involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership programmes, case competitions, student associations, internships or other experiences that have helped develop your commercial awareness and teamwork skills.
