The hours for the position are; Wednesday to Saturday Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm A bit about the role… We have a permanent full time position in our busy Drive Thru as a Team Member in Porirua. The hours for the position are; Wednesday to Saturday Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday: 7:00am - 4:00pm Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm Working in our yard and dispatch areas is rewarding and challenging. In these roles you will be assisting our trade and DIY customers in the yard, involved in picking orders, ensuring stock is replenished and stored correctly, getting our trucks ready for deliveries, and giving our customers excellent service every time. These positions are physically demanding as you will need to lift timber and other materials, and be on your feet throughout the day. A bit about you... For these positions a fullclass 1 Driver's Licence is mandatory, and an F endorsement is highly desirable If you hold a full Class 1Driver Licence but do not have an F endorsement, you must be willing tocomplete forklift training with the company to attain the certification. In addition, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate: Previous knowledge of building supplies, the timber industry and trade products A natural ability to provide excellent customer service The physical capability to manage manual lifting elements of the role Excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude The ability to work well within a team environmentand to work well independently Be responsible for working with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Have excellent numeracy and literacy skills Safe working practicesand be health and safety conscious A bit about us… Mitre 10 MEGA is New Zealand’s number one home improvement store.
