Investor Relations Officer

General Finance Ltd – Auckland, North Island General Finance Limited is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Investor Relations Officer to join our Deposits Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our investors, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the efficient administration of our secured fixed rate term deposit products. As an Investor Relations Officer, you will report to the Senior Manager – Deposits and contribute to delivering exceptional service while supporting the wider objectives of the General Capital Group. Key responsibilities Provide exceptional support to investors and clients between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on business days, managing enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels while ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses. Support the Senior Manager – Deposits in the day-to-day operation of the Deposits Team. Process secured term deposit applications accurately and efficiently. Contact investors approaching maturity to discuss available investment options. Process investment rollovers and repayments in accordance with investor instructions. Assist clients with questions relating to interest rates, taxation matters, and application requirements. Obtain, maintain, and update investor Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) information in accordance with the Company's AML/CFT programme. Liaise with the AML Compliance Officer and Management regarding any potential AML/CFT matters. Support the implementation of new initiatives, projects, and marketing campaigns. Provide assistance to other areas of the General Capital Group as required, particularly during peak periods, leave cover, and other group activities. About you Strong customer service and relationship management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational and time-management skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Confidence working with systems, processes, and regulatory requirements. Previous experience in financial services, banking, investments, or client administration (preferred but not essential).
