Aquaheat Facility Services is proud to be a member of the Horizon Energy Group of companies. We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Electrician to join our Wellington team. About Role This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of commercial and industrial sites, delivering high-quality electrical maintenance, reactive service work, fault diagnostics, and installation services. You will be joining a supportive and experienced team within a business that values safety, quality workmanship, and customer service excellence. This role is based at a static site working Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Overtime work may also be required from time to time to support operational and customer requirements. As an Electrician, your key responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned maintenance, reactive and remedial electrical work Fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and installations Maintaining electrical systems and equipment to New Zealand standards Reading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring diagrams Ensuring all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Assisting with quotes, customer solutions, and project delivery Participating in the on-call/call out roster when required Maintaining accurate job records, reports, and compliance documentation Building strong customer relationships and delivering excellent service This is an ideal opportunity for someone with: Experience in commercial and industrial electrical environments Minimum of 2-5 years in associated activities Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Knowledge of NZ electrical regulations, standards, and codes of practice Excellent communication and customer service skills The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively A strong commitment to Health & Safety and quality workmanship A positive attitude and team-focused approach With the following minimum requirements: Registered Electrician with a current EWRB NZ Practising Licence Current Manual Driver's Licence First Aid/CPR training advantageous Electrical inspection or project management experience advantageous At Aquaheat Facility Services, we live our SWITCH values: Sustainability — Investing in our future Wellbeing — Creating success through our people Innovation — Think beyond the Horizon Transparency — We act with honesty and integrity in everything we do Customer — We strive to exceed expectations all the time Health & Safety — Act Safe, Work Safe, Live Safe Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand #J-18808-Ljbffr
