As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor / Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent organisational skills, and has an interest in the automotive industry. About the Role As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in ensuring every customer receives outstanding service from the moment they arrive until their vehicle is collected. Your responsibilities will include: Greeting customers and providing a professional, friendly first impression. Booking service appointments and managing the workshop schedule. Preparing job cards and maintaining accurate customer records. Liaising with technicians regarding repair progress and vehicle requirements. Communicating with customers about servicing, repairs, estimates, and completion times. Processing invoices and payments. Handling phone and email enquiries. Providing administrative support to the workshop team. Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area. What We’re Looking For The successful applicant will have: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude. Good computer literacy and the ability to learn workshop management systems. Excellent organisational and time management skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. A reliable, dependable, and proactive approach to work. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A willingness to learn and develop within the automotive industry. A smart and professional personal presentation. A full New Zealand driver’s licence (preferred). Previous experience in an automotive workshop or customer service role would be an advantage, although training will be provided for the right candidate.
