Advanced Personnel Services – Christchurch, South Island Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Fitter (Short-Term Contract) Immediate Start – Next Thursday 2–3 Month Contract We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Fitter to join our team for a 2–3 month project involving the relocation of workshop equipment for a busy engine centre. This hands‑on role will involve: Disassembling workshop machinery and equipment Safely relocating equipment within the facility Reassembling and commissioning machinery Working as part of a team to complete the project safely and efficiently Following site safety procedures and engineering best practices Essential Requirements Mechanical engineering or fitting experience in industrial/workshop environments Experience dismantling and reassembling mechanical equipment Current EWP (Elevated Work Platform) licence Current Forklift certificate Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills Ability to work safely and independently What’s on Offer Immediate start (commencing next Thursday ) 2–3 month contract Competitive hourly rate Opportunity to work on a unique workshop relocation project Supportive team environment If you're an experienced mechanical professional available for an immediate start, we'd love to hear from you.
