Job Description
$125,000-$145,000 + Company Vehicle + Health Insurance Lead one of Hawke's Bay's biggest infrastructure projects. Looking for more than just another Foreman role? What makes this project different? Unlike many contractors, Seipp self-performs much of our work. That means you'll gain exposure to a wide range of specialist civil construction activities while working alongside experienced engineers, supervisors and project managers. You’ll be involved in delivering works including: Sheet and secant piling Complex dewatering Installation of 1.4m diameter PE pipeline New Zealand's largest hot tap Major mechanical installations Large-capacity wastewater flow management Every stage of this project presents something different, making it an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Foreman looking to continue developing their capability. What you'll be doing You’ll be responsible for leading a civil construction crew to safely deliver quality work while maintaining productivity and programme. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Leading and motivating site crews Planning daily activities and coordinating resources Running pre-starts and maintaining a strong safety culture Working closely with engineers and project managers Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard Monitoring productivity, quality and programme Coaching and developing your team What we're looking for You’ll be an experienced Civil Foreman who enjoys leading people and takes pride in delivering quality projects. You’ll also have: Proven experience leading civil construction crews Strong planning and organisational skills A genuine commitment to health and safety The ability to motivate and develop others A practical, solutions-focused approach Pride in delivering quality workmanship Experience across every aspect of this project isn't essential.
