Sanitation Cleaner

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Sanitation Cleaners to join the Sanitation team. About the role This role is responsible for cleaning and sanitising factory production areas and equipment to ensure high hygiene standards are maintained for safe food production. You will play an important part in supporting production operations by maintaining a clean, safe and efficient workplace while following all sanitation, food safety and health and safety requirements. Role Accountabilities Clean and sanitise factory production areas, machinery and equipment to required standards Disassemble and reassemble production equipment for cleaning as required Remove production waste and keep floors clean, clear and free from debris Use hoses, chemicals and cleaning equipment safely and correctly Conduct cleaning checks to ensure hygiene standards are met Follow safe manual handling practices when lifting, carrying and moving items Store hoses and equipment correctly to prevent hazards Dispose of waste appropriately to avoid contamination risks Follow GMP, food safety and company sanitation procedures at all times Complete any other reasonable duties as required by supervisors or managers What you need to succeed in the role Previous factory, processing or cleaning experience preferred Seafood industry experience advantageousGood literacy and numeracy skills Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination Ability to follow instructions and work safely Reliable, hardworking and physically fit Able to work well as part of a team Strong focus on hygiene, food safety and quality standards Positive attitude and willingness to learn For consideration, you will need to be eligible to work in New Zealand.
