Chapel Downs Junior College (Proposed opening date: 2027-01-01) – Auckland, North Island Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher Seeking a Junior College Visual Arts specialist! We are looking for an experienced teacher to join our team, specialising entirely in Visual Arts across our junior college setting. If you love diving into colour, texture, and different mediums to make art hands-on, accessible, and incredibly fun for early adolescents, we want you in our studio! What you'll be doing Designing dynamic art lessons across the junior college that match the developmental and creative energy of early adolescents. Teaching foundational art concepts like drawing, painting, sculpting, and mixed media through joyful, hands-on activities. Our focus is on keeping creativity relaxed and incredibly fun for students as they explore different mediums. What we’re looking for A vibrant energy and creative approach that brings art to life, making lessons an engaging, joyful, and deeply rewarding experience for our students. The skills and willingness to work across a variety of mediums. A knack for creating a welcoming space where every student feels like an artist.
