The role We have a great opportunity for an experienced Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) Designer to join our Auckland TTM team. In this role you will produce accurate, compliant Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), coordinate approvals through the relevant Road Controlling Authorities (RCAs), and provide day‑to‑day support to our operations team. A strong focus on worker safety, public safety, and minimising customer impact is essential. Key responsibilities Create TTM Designs to minimise customer impact, including the use of shared closures or alternate traffic management approaches aligned with NZGTTM principles. Identify TTM and construction risks early and ensure appropriate mitigations are designed into TMPs. Build strong working relationships with the Road Controlling Authorities to support timely approvals and high‑quality submissions. Provide temporary traffic management advice to project teams and, where required, support pricing methodology, planning and costing. Remove roadblocks and problem‑solve quickly and effectively in response to delays, emergencies, or changing site conditions. Interpret and explain TMPs and work plans to staff, supervisors, and operational leaders. Support the operational delivery of TTM activities as needed. About you 2+ years’ experience in Temporary Traffic Management (3–5 years preferred). Expert in CAD or RapidPlan for TMP design (CAD qualification preferred). Understanding of NZGTTM planning principles and ability to apply good practice in TMP design. The following qualification would be a distinct advantage L4 Micro-credential Temporary Traffic Design or similar Temporary Traffic Management Planner (TTMP) – Practicing L4 Micro-credential TTM Risk assessment (US33253) is a distinct advantage Strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
