Temporary Customer Services Officer - Fixed Term Contract Singapore Airlines – Christchurch, South Island We are seeking an individual with proven work experience in airline, airport operations, to join our Christchurch Airport office in the role of Temporary Customer Services Officer. This is a fixed term temporary role, working 6-hour shifts, from late September 2026 to 31 March 2026, due to additional seasonal flight requirements. You will be responsible for providing a professional level of frontline and administrative service and support related to the airport operations environment. You will need to have strong time management skills, be resourceful and confident working in a pressurized and fast paced environment and highly skilled in conflict resolution. The ability to form good interpersonal relationships with both internal and external customers is a key requirement. A good understanding of the Office365 suite of applications and experience with airline reservations and departure control systems such as Amadeus Customer Management and Amadeus Flight Management is preferred. Must have airport operational experience, either with an airline or ground handling agent. Key responsibilities include: Customer servicing in operational areas, including, but not limited to, check-in, departure gate, baggage, apron, lounge and arrivals Oversee and work closely with handling agents to uphold Singapore Airlines’ customer servicing standards General office administration, including invoice verification and specific areas of responsibility as assigned on a rotational basis Ensuring that procedures are followed and station targets are met Ad hoc tasks as assigned There is a requirement to work shifts and extended hours in case of flight disruptions. This position is based at the Singapore Airlines Christchurch airport office with uniform and car park provided. Candidates must have New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency status.
