About The Role This role sits in our Payroll and Time Operations Team. As a newly created role following a recent technology transformation, it will help to shape the future of our time and labour management payroll processes, drive continuous improvements, and make a lasting impact while working alongside a supportive team. What You'll Do Investigate and resolve payroll enquiries and matters, with a strong focus on time and attendance, including leave and time records, scheduling, roster management, and record maintenance. Provide advice and support on payroll and workforce time management processes, including the development and maintenance of process documentation, user guides, and training materials. Complete payroll validation and control activities to maintain data accuracy, compliance, and payroll integrity. Support the troubleshooting of time and labour management system issues, perform system testing, and assist with defect resolution activities relating to system enhancements, upgrades, and business initiatives. Prepare workforce and payroll reporting, and support payroll audits, compliance reviews, and governance activities. Identify, elevate, and manage risks associated with payroll, time and attendance processes, ensuring appropriate controls and mitigation strategies are in place. Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, leaders, and less experienced team members, providing guidance on payroll and workforce time management processes while fostering knowledge sharing and capability development. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external providers to support operational excellence, improve service delivery, and achieve business objectives. Proactively identify and implement process improvement opportunities across payroll and workforce time management operations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and customer experience. What You'll Bring Demonstrated experience working within a payroll team, with a strong focus on workforce time and attendance management in a medium to large organisation. Knowledge of payroll and workforce management systems, such as UKG, ADP, or similar platforms. Sound understanding of payroll legislation, modern awards, enterprise agreements, and time and attendance compliance requirements. Experience in system testing, defect management, and user acceptance testing (UAT), including supporting system enhancements and upgrades. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to effectively support employees, leaders, and external service providers.
