Pick packer

We are looking for 2 x enthusiastic and capable candidates for warehouse pick packer’s position for picking and packing at our distribution warehouse in Dunedin.

It is a full time role working at least 30 hours per week, including evening shifts and weekend.

Essential Requirements:

  Able to work long and

\n
• \n

  Able to work flexible hours including weekends and early morning and evening shifts

\n
• \n

  High school education required OR

\n
• \n

  0 - 12 months experience in similar field

\n
• \n

  Good attention to detail and accuracy.

\n
• \n

  Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting (bread trays, milk crates, dairy cartons).

\n
• \n

  Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts if required. Be available to work Monday to Sunday between the hours of 4:00am to 7:00pm rotating roster

\n

You will be required to perform as per below:

\n
• \n

  Accurately pick and pack bread, milk, and dairy products according to delivery run sheets and customer orders.

\n
• \n

  Operate appropriate packing machines and equipment safely and efficiently.

\n
• \n

  Ensure correct labelling, sealing, and palletising of products for dispatch.

\n
• \n

  Check product quality, packaging condition, and expiry dates before dispatch (FIFO stock rotation).

\n
• \n

  Prepare and load delivery vehicles in a safe and organised manner.

\n
• \n

  Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including regular cleaning of work areas, chillers, storage racks, and equipment.

\n
• \n

  Carry out general warehouse maintenance duties to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.

\n
• \n

  Assist with stock control, stock takes, and inventory management.

\n
• \n

  Follow all food safety, health & safety, and company compliance procedures.

\n
• \n

  Work closely with drivers and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods

\n

\n Note: Any other related task may be allocated from time to time as assigned by the employer/owner in writing.
