Job Description
We are currently seeking reliable and full-time Bricklayers to join our team. The starting pay offered is $28-$35 hourly and will be fixed according to the skills and experience for 30 to 50 hours a week. However, this will be reviewed periodically. Any overtime will be paid as per the above pay rate. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of related tasks, including:

- Reviewing project plans and specifications to determine the materials, dimensions, and installation processes required for each job. \n
- Erecting and dismantling scaffolding and temporary supports within allowable height limits \n
- Applying damp-proof materials to foundations and spreading mortar layers as a base and adhesive for bricks and other building blocks. \n
- Laying bricks, pre-cut stones, and other masonry units in precise rows, patterns, and shapes, ensuring proper spacing and alignment. \n
- Embedding bricks and blocks in mortar, trimming excess material, and ensuring a clean finish. \n
- Verifying the accuracy of vertical and horizontal alignments throughout the construction process \n
- Cutting, shaping, and polishing masonry materials using both mechanical equipment and hand tools to fit unique spaces and design requirements. \n
- Repairing and maintaining existing brickwork, concrete blocks, and similar structures \n
- Designing and engraving monumental masonry as required. \n
- Constructing walls, partitions, arches, and other structural elements using stone slabs, bricks, and large masonry blocks \n
To be successful in this role, you should have :

- A minimum of two years of proven experience in bricklaying or another construction- related trade or site-based role. Alternatively, a relevant qualification. \n
- Must be available to work early mornings and weekends (based on work arrangement). \n
- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. \n
- Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines. \n
- Pre-employed drug test and police check is required. \n
