About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga 12 month maternity leave cover. As a Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will help shape secure business outcomes across Fonterra, providing expert guidance that enables the Co-op to meet its objectives while effectively managing cyber risk and compliance obligations. Through cybersecurity risk assessments, compliance management and remediation activities, you will identify and manage risks across IT, OT, business operations and third-party providers, while contributing to the ongoing enhancement of Fonterra's Cybersecurity Risk Framework. For someone who enjoys getting into the detail, this role combines governance, documentation and continuous improvement with the opportunity to make a real impact on cybersecurity practices, risk management and organisational resilience. You thrive in roles where you can take ownership and work autonomously. Backed by a strong IT or Risk Management background within complex organisations, you bring experience in safeguarding the protection, integrity, regulatory compliance and ongoing continuity of IT systems and services. You enjoy bridging the gap between technical and business teams, translating complex cybersecurity and risk concepts into clear, practical insights that support confident decision-making. You are equally comfortable managing vendor relationships and navigating policies and procedures, ensuring security and compliance practices remain aligned with broader organisational objectives.
