As a Sous Chef, you will have the opportunity tobring your love of exceptional food & service to life, providing our guests amemorable experienceto match their surroundings at our Club Wyndham Wanaka Resort. This is a full time position (minimum of 30 hours per week). What You Will Be Doing: Managingthe culinary operations reporting directly to the Head Chef/General Manager of the Resort, including supervising the culinary brigade and overseeing services. Beresponsiblefor providing high quality dishes, fromconcept creation,preparation, cooking, right through topresentation, at thehighest standard. Prepare and present menuitems showingvarietyandflair, delivering anexcitingandprofitableproduct. Order, maintain and manage stockand par levels whilereducing wastage. Assist inroster preparationand managing manning levels in line with budget requirements. Maintain strictfood hygiene and safetyensuring all workstations are tidy and equipment is maintained, serviced, and cleaned in line with protocols and procedures. Your Experience And Skills Include: NZQF Diploma or at least t hree years or more of relevant work experience. Strong leadership skillswith the ability to provideguidanceanddirectionto a kitchen brigade. Customer drivenfocus & apassionfor food. Working knowledge ofworkplace health & safety procedures & foodsafety standards. Ability to work flexibly over a variety of shifts includingweekends, mornings & evenings.
