About The Role We are looking for reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Operators to join the night shift team at our East Tamaki site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in accuracy, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of a team that keeps product moving safely and efficiently. About The Role We are looking for reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Operators to join the night shift team at our East Tamaki site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in accuracy, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of a team that keeps product moving safely and efficiently. In this role, you will carry out a range of warehouse duties including forklift operation, receipting and dispatch processing, stock movements, RF scanning, housekeeping, and general warehouse support. You will help ensure product integrity, stock accuracy, and on-time delivery while following food safety, hygiene, and health and safety requirements. What you’ll be doing Receiving finished goods, transferred products, purchased products, and imported goods into store. Operating forklifts and push/pull units to unload, load, stack, relocate, and marshal product. Picking, preparing, and dispatching product for domestic and export deliveries. Completing scanning transactions and documentation to maintain accurate stock records. Supporting production supply by picking and loading materials and ingredients as required. Assisting with stock takes, cycle counts, pallet repairs, procedure reviews, and other warehouse tasks as needed. About You You will be dependable, practical, and confident working in a warehouse environment where accuracy and safety matter. You will be comfortable working in cold environments typical of ice cream production and able to complete manual handling and repetitive tasks as part of your day-to-day work. To be successful, you will bring A current forklift licence. General warehousing experience, ideally in a similar industry. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate record keeping. Reliability, accountability, and a positive work ethic. A team-focused approach and willingness to assist other departments when required. Key skills Forklift operation, including safe loading, unloading, stacking, and product movement. Warehouse receipting, dispatch, stock movement, and inventory control. RF scanning and accurate completion of warehouse documentation. Safe work practices, hazard awareness, and food hygiene standards. Time management and ability to prioritise work to meet delivery cut-offs and timelines. It would be an advantage if you also have Experience operating forklift attachments, including push/pull units. Basic computer skills. Basic maths, recording, and written communication skills. What we’re looking for Someone who takes pride in doing the job right the first time.
