About the Role The successful applicant will Provide quality patient care under the supervision of an RN, and assisting patients to maintain as much of their independence as possible. Provide and maintain a caring, supportive safe environment in which patients can recover and return to their homes or place of residency. Attend to patients personal hygiene, repositioning, feeding, toileting as required Answer bells promptly and act on requests Provide close observations of vulnerable patients to ensure their safety Communicate with the RNs, family & members of the health care team in a friendly, courteous manner Carry out assigned tasks such as cleaning, restocking, tidying and checking of equipment Contribute to the maintenance of supplies by ordering, processing and monitoring of stock levels About the Team/Service/ Location Health New Zealand |Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare from its two modern and progressive general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupo, New Zealand.
